11/16/22 – On Wednesday afternoon, 11/16, units from the 1st, 3rd and 7th battalions were alerted to the 4600 BLK of Davis Ave in Company 17’s area for a reported house fire, bringing Truck 29 as the first due truck. 29 was the first to arrive to a 2 story cape cod with smoke showing and a working basement fire. The Truck crew completed primary searches of the basement, which were negative, and necessary ventilation and ladder duties. Extension was found on the first floor. All fire was knocked and crews remained on scene to check for further extension. Truck 29 operated for just under 3 hours before returning to service.
