Just before 2:00 in the afternoon on 07/26, Truck 29 and Chief 29A responded to the 1900 BLK of Shadyside Ave in Co. 17’s area for a reported house fire. Battalion 3 arrived with fire showing from a single family dwelling. Truck 29 operated as the first due special service, completing primary searches on the fire floor in addition to necessary ladder and outside ventilation duties. Chief 29A was the Basement division supervisor. Crews remained on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning to service. Photos from Engine Company 5.
