02/13/23 – Just after 1:30 in afternoon, the box alarm was dispatched for a house on fire in the area of Kingswood Dr / Ponderay St in Co. 27’s first due, bringing Truck 29 as the first due special service. En route, the address was updated to the 3600 BLK of Kingswood Dr. Engine Co. 26 arrived to 2 story, brick cape cod with fire showing from division 2. Truck 29 arrived shortly after and was assigned to the fire floor, completing primary searches and opening up. Additionally, the crew completed necessary ground ladder duties. Crews remained on scene for over 2 hours before returning to service.
