Silver Hill Volunteer Fire Department provides a great opportunity for motivated men and women to get involved, first hand, in the Fire/Rescue Service. Volunteers provide fire/rescue service to Silver Hill and the greater Prince George’s community. Men and women are needed to fill important operational positions on our apparatus including firefighter, EMT-B, technician, and officer positions.
Our operational volunteer membership includes a diverse body of men and women including full-time college students, nurses, career firefighters, police officers, and tradesmen…who are all looking for “something else” outside of their professional lives. These men and women dedicate what free time they have on nights/weekends to help us carry out our mission to provide Volunteer fire/rescue service to our community.
