03/05/22 – Just prior to 23:00 last night, companies from the 3rd and 5th battalions, in addition to mutual aid from NDWFD, responded to the 3000 BLK of Fairhill Ct in the first due for a reported house fire. Engine 293 and Chief 29 made the response. Engine 293 arrived on the scene of a single family dwelling with smoke showing. Upon completion of a 360, the crew discovered a basement fire, brought their line through the basement door and began extinguishing the fire. Crews on scene had a well advanced fire in the basement and Division 1. All searches were negative and crews remained on scene for approx. 2-1/2 hours.
